Precision Pneumatics Ltd was founded in 1991 and is based near Liverpool, with presence in the North-West of England. The company has 26 employees.
Wearside Pneumatics Ltd was founded in 1974 and is based near Newcastle upon Tyne, with presence in the North-East of England. The company has 17 employees.
Both companies, privately owned by the same owners, provide compressed air solutions to companies in all types of manufacturing industries, such as general manufacturing, electronics, automotive and automotive supply chain, food & beverage, and metal fabrication.
“Both companies have strong sales and service coverage in highly dense industrial areas of the UK,” said Ariel Rubinstein, general manager, Atlas Copco Compressors UK & Ireland. “The acquisitions will further increase our direct service and sales presence in those key areas and provide growth opportunities.”
Former owner Phil Hood said: “We have had 32 happy and successful years in the industry, and now is the time to move on to the next chapter. The purchase price was not disclosed.
The acquired businesses will become part of the service division within the compressor technique business area.
