MSC helps TM Specialist Engineers to drive down consumable spend11 March 2020

MRO products and services supplier MSC Industrial Supply Co. is helping to reduce consumable spend at TM Specialist Engineers, a producer of bespoke heavy steel fabricated and machined parts for manufacturing and engineering customers.

The firm is working with MSC’s application engineering team, who are aiming to help it become more efficient and profitable. This includes analysing processes in order to implement optimum production strategies and providing CNC programming support to help convert engineering drawings into CNC code.

Andrew Garton, operations director at TM Engineers, says: “The MSC team is opening our eyes to a better way of working by providing strategic production advice and helping us drive down our consumable spend. We are discovering MSC to be far more than a catalogue supplier and look forward to seeing how much more efficient we will become over the coming months.”

MSC works with a number of businesses from the aerospace, automotive and precision engineering sectors, including Gardner Aerospace, JW Kane, Arrowsmith and Bromford Industries.
