Wiferion names head of application engineering09 September 2024

Wiferion, a provider of wireless energy systems, has appointed Kamil Buczek as head of application engineering, where he will contribute to the development of application support.

His responsibilities will include advising, training and supporting global sales teams, partners and customers to ensure effective implementation and problem solving.

Buczek has experience from various specialist and management positions. At IABG, he was a measurement technician in the space simulation department and was responsible for the implementation of test preparations, maintenance budgets and system development projects. He also managed projects to expand the network infrastructure and implement data acquisition software and hardware. Buczek worked at Puls for almost eight years in various roles, including technical product manager. Most recently, Buczek worked at Alpitronic as manager test system operations, where he ensured the stability and performance of the measurement systems and worked on the industrialisation and automation of the production and test systems.

At Wiferion, Buczek will lead the development of team competencies and ensure that the team can individually advise, train and support the sales teams, partners and customers. He will establish structures and methods for efficient collaboration with departments such as research and development, quality, marketing and product management. A further aim is to develop customer and application-specific solutions and to keep abreast of the latest technological developments.

"My biggest goal is for the support team to be able to assist our customers and users with implementation and problems in a timely and solution-oriented manner," said Buczek. "I am motivated by the product and the people behind it. I want to strengthen this team and keep it together."
