Timken acquires Revolvo from Eriks UK 09 December 2014

Maintenance, repair and overhaul engineering specialist Eriks has signed an agreement with Timken, which will purchase the trade and business assets of Revolvo for an undisclosed sum.

Revolvo, based in Dudley, manufactures split roller bearings and ball and roller bearings for the process industries, power generation, mining, cement and marine.

It has been a part of the Eriks UK operation for many years, but the company says its strategic direction no longer enables the full development of Revolvo's potential.

Timken, which manufactures a wide range of bearings throughout the world, and the acquisition of Revolvo complements its product offerings.
