MasterMover has exhibited at the show for the past five years and this year has its biggest stand to date, meaning it can display a wide range of products to visitors. As such, MasterMover is using the opportunity to reveal its new range of AGVs and PS machines, as well as the SM100, SM100+, MT1500+, MT600+ and AT300+ machines.
At LogiMAT, logistics experts will be demonstrating the trends that will shape the industry for years to come. One of the key questions is how new technologies can be used alongside existing operatives to optimise the workplace. MasterMover’s new AGV tugs are a key example of this.
Plant managers can employ the AGVs to move loads of up to 30 tonnes without the need for a pedestrian operator. However, they can be used on production lines, working alongside existing employees to bring items to them and subsequently improving productivity.
“We recognise that our customers are increasingly looking for automated systems in their plants,” explained Markus Schubert, director of MasterMover GmbH. “By automating part of the handling process in their factory, they can reduce non-value added time spent waiting for goods to be transported on forklifts and streamline the production process.
“At LogiMAT, visitors will be able to see these machines in action, as well as discuss with our colleagues how we can adapt the machines to fit the needs of their factory.”
Visitors will be able to see live demonstrations of the tugs, which allow a single pedestrian operator to pull loads from 2,000 to 360,000kg, dependant on the model of tug.
Representatives from MasterMover GmbH and MasterMover UK will also be on hand to explain to visitors how they can decrease downtime, promote lean manufacturing and increase safety in plants.
Last year, LogiMAT hosted over 50,000 visitors from 60 countries, making it a truly global forum for the future of the logistics market.
