Spidex wins Mainsaver CMMS support contract at Dounreay14 December 2018

Software products supplier Spidex Software has been awarded the contract for technical support of software management systems for maintenance and health & safety at Dounreay, Scotland.

Dounreay, once the UK’s centre of fast reactor research, is said to now be Scotland’s largest nuclear decommissioning project.

Spidex managing director Jonathan Starling says that the announcement is “a hugely exciting project for both parties”.

“The objective of the software upgrades we will be providing is to support a leaner operating environment within the maintenance function at Dounreay, without compromising any of its efficiency,” he explains.

“We are delighted to be able to supply Dounreay with fully up-to-date software, dedicated technical resources and a UK-based helpdesk for day-to-day assistance.”
