SOE launches Professional Recognition Scheme07 October 2010
The SOE (Society of Operations Engineers) launched a scheme aimed at recognising companies' commitment to engineering at its annual luncheon in London.
Organisations taking part in its Professional Recognition Scheme will receive an annually updated plaque bearing the names of all employees who are both members of the SOE and registered with the Engineering Council.
Launching the scheme, Chris Grime, president of the SOE, said: "This acts as a symbol to employees, colleagues and associates that the organisation values the development and contribution of its engineers. It also highlights to outside audiences its engineers' competence."
At the launch, three of the scheme's launch partners – Allianz Engineering, Bureau Veritas and S&B Automotive Academy – were presented with their SOE Professional Recognition plaques, recognising the achievements of their own engineering professionals.
Interested organisations should contact SOE business development manager Will Reeves on 020 7630 1111 or will.reeves@soe.org.uk.
