Siemens supplies 25,000th Sinamics S120 motion control drive 10 August 2012

Siemens Drive Technologies has delivered its 25,000th Sinamics S120 motion control drive in the UK – and global sales now total more than one million.

Sinamics S120 was launched in 2004 as a versatile, high-performance, modular system for high-end applications in machine and plant construction, ready for integration into plant process control systems.

"The success of the Sinamics S120 drive is testament to how the product helps plants achieve their operational objectives," says Andy Hodgson, business sales manager, Siemens Drive Technologies.
