Using its own tunable diode laser technology, the latest wavelength modulated spectroscopy measurement techniques, and Servomex signal processing, it is expected to provide stable, repeatable results with minimal installation and maintenance costs.
The Laser 3 Plus Combustion model measures oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO) and methane (CH4) in in-situ cross-stack applications.
The Laser 3 Plus Process version is said to provide the most stable results for the measurement of O2 in process temperatures up to 500°C.
Additionally, the Laser 3 Plus Environmental measures ammonia (NH3) for monitoring ammonia slip during DeNOx processes. It is also Environmental Protection Agency PS18 compliant for continuous emissions monitoring monitoring of NH3 as a precursor to harmful particulates.
Rhys Jenkins, IP&E product manager – spectroscopic analysers, said: “We use a single-line ‘monochromatic’ spectroscopic technique that offers highly-stable calibration, and a continuous, fast, in-situ measurement, ensuring the avoidance of optical cross-interference of other gases.
“With application requirements becoming increasingly demanding and there being a greater focus on clean, efficient processes as well as accurate and reliable gas analysis, this range delivers over and above the existing products on the market.”
