Plant management solution launched by CHAS16 March 2020

CHAS, a UK provider of risk prevention, compliance and supply chain management services, has launched a plant and machinery management tool.

The tool, called CHAS Plant, is said to offer easy tracking and instant visibility of site plant and machinery – improving safety, simplifying inspection and maintenance and ensuring regulatory compliance with requirements.

Available via the CHAS portal, CHAS Plant is also said to provide contractors with a single view of all plant and machinery, including a record of all maintenance, insurance, and operator checks, creating an instantly available audit trail.

Furthermore, the tool can assist in asset workflow management, such as the provision of automatic alerts when services are approaching and due. Tasks can also be delegated via notification and created automatically by checklist actions.
