Pilz accredited for machinery safety skills training 06 October 2011
Machinery safety specialist Pilz Automation Technology has been accredited as a skills training provider by The National Skills Academy for its City & Guilds machinery safety courses.
The courses are now certifi8ed across all nine industries under the Proskills UK Group, including paper, print, glass, coatings, wood, ceramics, building products, furniture, extractive and mineral processing industries.
They are aimed at engineers, technicians and operators who have responsibility for existing or new machinery – including maintenance engineers, engineering andproject managers, design engineers and manufacturers.
"Not only is Pilz a specifier of products for the process industries, it also has a great knowledge and understanding of industrial processes and a richness of experience in machinery safety," observes Richard Bloxam, network development manager at Proskills UK.
