Nexus Plant Hire enables users to meet all vehicle requirements through a centralised account management platform that includes a comprehensive view on their rental spend and documentation.
This platform is said to give business customers access to the UK’s largest supply chain network. Through Iris, Nexus connects customers to more than 650,000 vehicles, including 100,000 specialist and commercial vehicles, 50,000 heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), and now 100,000 pieces of plant machinery, across more than 2,000 locations.
Nexus Plant Hire offers access to a network of plant vehicles and machinery. This includes plant vehicles, heating and cooling equipment, welfare and accommodation vehicles, power and lighting equipment and powered access machinery and sustainable products.
Customers also benefit from access to real-time data insight, which helps to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies via Iris’s reporting suite.
Yvonne Palmer, operations director at Nexus Vehicle Rental, said: “We know that broadening our supply chain network to cover plant hire on top of cars, vans and HGVs will enable our customers to do more, as we provide the option for customers to upscale their fleet at peak times or when new contracts land.
“Our innovative rental management software, Iris, means that our customers have full control over every aspect of their rental needs and our brilliant customer success team are always on hand to support businesses through this process.”
