Neilson Hydraulics appointed IMO distributor 10 December 2020

South Yorkshire-based Neilson Hydraulics & Engineering and its sister company VHS Hydraulic Components have been the appointed the official UK distributors for IMO, a specialist in turning and slewing solutions.

The Germany-based manufacturer specialises in antifriction bearing technology. The company provides a wide range of slew drives and slewing rings that can be used in a variety of applications including forestry, agriculture, mining, manlift platforms, maritime applications, machine construction and plant engineering.

Rob Turner, managing director of Neilson Hydraulics and VHS Hydraulic Components, said: “We have been working closely with IMO for nearly 10 years now on different projects, and this news of the appointment in both companies comes with great excitement. We look forward to more collaboration with them in the UK marketplace to develop further business with their class leading products.”

Neilson Hydraulics and VHS Hydraulic Components supply hydraulic components to companies in the agriculture, construction, engineering, farming, materials handling, marine, plastics, recycling and steel industry. The group also designs and manufactures hydraulic systems, power packs and cylinders at its two factories in Sheffield and Rotherham, in close proximity to the Advanced Manufacturing Park.
