The team, including process engineers, design engineers, and senior decision makers, were welcomed to Monmouth by Will Wormald, Siltbuster’s technical solutions manager.
Wormald gave an introductory talk and update on Siltbuster’s range of flexible, modular water treatment solutions before the guests split into groups for a tabletop exercise to see how contractors can best consider and deploy Siltbuster units and to help give them a better understanding of the equipment/technology capabilities.
Siltbuster offered a live demonstration with actual units to help the MBB team visualise how all their system designs could fit together.
Finally, the visitors returned for a discussion, with the Siltbuster team, on how closer collaboration across the supply chain can help mitigate the challenges faced by both the current and future needs of water treatment against a backdrop of climate change and more stringent regulation.
Anna Hale, one of several Siltbuster graduates involved in the day, said: “This was a valuable learning process for everyone, including a fascinating exchange of ideas as we learned from the Mott MacDonald Bentley team about their water treatment challenges.
“We updated them on the ever-evolving range of Siltbuster solutions and, most importantly, we learned how we can support them and work better together in the future.”
