The engineering brief outlines how temperature measurement accuracy is becoming increasingly important in industries, such as automotive, aerospace and medical, and how the use of correctly calibrated, high-accuracy temperature measurement instruments enables tighter manufacturing tolerances, enhanced product quality and ultimately lower production costs.

Ametek Land has three certification laboratories globally, in the United Kingdom, United States, and India. Those labs are accredited against the ISO / IEC 17025:2015 standard as approved by national accreditation bodies.
The certification service verifies the performance accuracy of an instrument at a given point in time by quantifying its errors, allowing those errors to be applied as compensation to improve practical measurement uncertainty.
