Industrial parts supplier broadens its horizons10 July 2019
Industrial automation parts supplier EU Automation has opened a new facility in Frankfurt, Germany, to further improve its services to its European customer base.
With a workforce of 11, EU Automation GmbH will aim to provide even faster delivery of new, obsolete and reconditioned parts, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), inverters and motors, to clients across Europe and further afield.
EU Automation currently delivers to over 220 countries and territories around the globe and offers a nine-hour delivery service in Europe. The new facility has been opened to meet the growing demand of manufacturers looking for replacement parts that will help return them to production.
Based at the Segro Business Park in Mörfelden Walldorf, the facility has an office of 600m2 and a warehouse measuring 1,600m2.
Says Bernhard Zwickler (pictured), local director for Germany at EU Automation GmbH: “Our convenient location means that we can shave off vital days and hours so that customers can return to production quickly. We also work with several courier services to send parts to all of our German customers and customers in neighbouring countries such as France, Belgium and Italy in only a few hours.
“Currently our team liaises with the support of our UK headquarters to cover all of continental Europe and we are gradually adding more territories. In the next two years, we expect to grow the capabilities of the facility and be able to serve 90% of the world from our office because of our excellent travel connections.”
EU Automation now has offices in the UK, Chicago (USA), Germany and Singapore to help manufacturers source new, obsolete and reconditioned parts.
