Hydra Engineering Services acquired by Rubix UK27 January 2020
Industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul products and services supplier Rubix UK has completed the acquisition of hydraulics services supplier Hydra Engineering Services (Hydraflow Hydraulics).
Hydraflow Hydraulics, which is based in Gloucester, Somerset, and has an additional site in Newport, South Wales, primarily serves steel, recycling, marine, industrial and quarrying and mining industries and related heavy plant machinery. It specialises in the repair and reconditioning of large cylinders and offers expertise in MRO services, including on-site fault-finding and testing of hydraulic pumps, power pack refurbishment, build and custom design, as well as valve repair.

Stuart Parker will continue in his role as MD at Hydraflow Hydraulics, which will operate as an independent specialist hydraulic repair division. He will report to Nigel Banks, MD of Services Division at Rubix UK.
Parker adds: “Our expertise combined with Rubix UK’s existing multi-specialist approach and reach will help us to grow outside of our current geographical footprint and extend our expertise across the UK.
