Environment Agency to address CRC Scheme at Facilities Show 06 May 2010
The Facilities Show, which runs from 11to 13 May at the NEC Birmingham, has dedicated educational content to help FM managers meet the regulatory changes under the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme.
Adrian Newton, portfolio director for safety and building management at the show organiser, UBM Live, suggests that, since 1 April 2010, The FM industry has been wrestling with the government's CRC introduction. He also points to a recent poll, which showed that only 52% of the industry feel they fully understand the impact of the scheme.
Visitors to The Facilities Show will now be able to hear directly from The Environment Agency as it delivers a keynote address in conjunction with Best Foot Forward.
The keynote takes place at 11:00 on Tuesday 11 May in the Sustainable FM Academy, sponsored by FMX.
"The importance of The Facilities Show to the FM industry is highlighted by the Environment Agency's decision to use it as a platform for discussion on this important scheme," comments Newton. "We are in no doubt that those in attendance will benefit from this and all the other free of charge educational sessions on offer."
