Dunkermotoren launches industrial internet of things brand "nexofox" 20 October 2021

Under nexofox, Dunkermotoren will offer its customers a holistic solution portfolio covering all aspects of the use and connectivity of its smart motors.

‘Holistic’ means, on the one hand, from the initial consultation and joint concept development to project implementation in partnership. On the other hand, ‘holistic’ also means from the field level to the cloud from a single source, that is, from the implementation of the control logic with MotionCode to condition monitoring & predictive maintenance using cloud services.

With nexofox, the drive technology manufacturer says it is breaking new ground and moving from a pure product supplier to a full-service provider. The nexofox brand is said to address the topic of the industrial internet of things as well as the connectivity and programmability of smart motors.

The company is part of the German Ametek group and provides drives up to 4000 W output power. The portfolio includes brushless and brushed DC motors, as well as linear systems and AC motors. Since the beginning of 2020, the portfolio has been expanded by the sister company MAE to include stepper motors and blowers. And since March 2021, German automation specialist EGS Automation has also been part of Dunkermotoren.
