Smulski will be responsible for fluid conveyance activities globally.
Previously senior vice president of distribution sales, Smulski will continue to serve as a key member of the Power Solutions leadership team and will continue reporting directly to Eric Alström, president of Danfoss Power Solutions. He is based at the company’s campus in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
In his previous role as senior vice president of distribution sales, Smulski merged and developed a sales organisation focused on delivering solutions to Danfoss Power Solutions’ distribution partners globally. Smulski joined Danfoss as part of the Eaton Hydraulics acquisition in 2021. At Eaton, he held various leadership positions within sales, programme management and marketing. He has more than 20 years of commercial and sales leadership experience in the fluid power and electrical industries.
Additionally, Hill will be responsible for leading both the OEM sales and distribution sales teams under one organisation.
Previously senior vice president of OEM Sales, Hill will continue to serve as a key member of the Power Solutions leadership team and continue reporting directly to Eric Alström, president of Danfoss Power Solutions. He is based in Clifton Park, New York, US.
Prior to joining Danfoss, Hill spent more than 20 years at General Electric in various global commercial leadership positions across the company’s Power and Water divisions, in both the US and Japan. Hill also worked for nine years with ABB Power Generation, in both the US and Sweden. He started his career in steam and gas turbine performance/application engineering before moving into sales.
