Crimson goes for infrared cameras with Flir 26 July 2011
Crimson Industrial Vision, which specialises in remote visual inspection technologies for condition monitoring and NDT, has been set up by Paul Sacker, ex of thermographic cameras manufacturer Flir Systems.
"Thermal imaging is a growth market, with enormous potential for Crimson [and] Flir is the only infrared company that truly understands this market," he says. "For Crimson, it's the natural choice."
Systems that view across the spectrum from UV through to IR, including visual, complete the Crimson product range. Sacker says the company's knowledge enables it to recommend a solution, whether off-the-shelf or bespoke.
Sacker also confirms the newly launched Flir Ebx-Series has been well-received by customers servicing the built environment.
"The ease of use of both the camera and software means that, for the first time, customers have an eminently affordable product that helps them to make informed decisions faster, and to explain thermal issues to their customers with clarity," he asserts.
