Co-locations announced for fast developing Maintec 21 August 2013

The Maintec MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) exhibition – which returns to the NEC from 11—13 March 2014 – should be considerably bigger, according to EasyFairs.

The organiser has announced two show co-locations for Maintec 2014, one being Facilities Management and the other the new Health & Safety Event.

The former show is for facilities, property and estate managers, and EasyFairs makes the point that its co-location will be useful for Maintec visitors, many of whom are also responsible for facilities management.

As for the Health & Safety Event, it's another good fit, given the obvious responsibilities of maintenance engineers and engineering managers.

The market place has reacted well, with DHL, Emerson Industrial Automation, Amey, Coo-Var and Parrs among major names already booked in.

"Facilities management, maintenance and health and safety are very important to our business," comments Lindsay Owen, plant systems engineer, Emerson Industrial Automation.

"Having three co-located shows encompassing all aspects in a convenient location is the perfect opportunity for us to network and meet new suppliers without having to spend too much time out of the office," he adds.
