Brammer launches mobile centre of maintenance excellence 02 March 2012
Maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) specialist Brammer has launched what it describes as a 'mobile centre of excellence', designed to showcase its product and service offering.
Ian Ritchie, managing director of Brammer, says that the mobile unit will be visiting customer plants, as well as Brammer's network of more than 90 sales and service centres.
Included on the Brammer trailer are hands-on product displays and video demonstrations from many of Brammer's suppliers, including SKF, NSK, Parker, SMC, Festo, Norgren, Rocol, 3M, Ansell and Kimberley-Clark.
It also has interactive demonstration rigs, and covers product application areas, including drive train, energy efficiency, counterfeit bearings, hydraulic systems, industrial application innovation and lubrication technologies.
"Drawing on the successful centre of excellence model at our national distribution centre in Wolverhampton, the mobile centre of excellence is our way of demonstrating the technical support and expertise, product innovation, value-adding services and cost savings that we offer to customers," states Ritchie.
