In Germany, Bosch will begin volume production of its module at its Stuttgart-Feuerbach location.
The company is relying on its global manufacturing network and its other locations in Germany. For example, the Bosch plant in Bamberg will supply the fuel-cell stack while the Homburg plant will deliver important system components such as the electric air compressor and the recirculation blower.
In China, the components will come from the Wuxi plant.
Additionally, Bosch has confirmed Nikola will serve as the pilot customer for its Class 8 hydrogen fuel cell electric truck, which is scheduled to enter North America in the third quarter of 2023.
