The contract, which was awarded following a formal tender process, will involve the monitoring and maintenance of more than 1,500 pieces of rotating equipment at INEOS’ Grangemouth site in Falkirk, Scotland.
AVT Reliability has been providing its expertise to the Grangemouth site for more than 13 years.
A key factor in securing the new contract is said to have been the Cheshire based company’s ability to evolve INEOS’ traditional condition monitoring programme into a reliability-focused, digital CBM programme. It will integrate its cloud-based asset management system, Machine Sentry, into site operations as part of the contract.
Frederic Thomas, MD of AVT Reliability, says: “We’re delighted at this opportunity to continue our reliability support for INEOS. Our track record of consistency and quality of service, as well as our ability to demonstrate we could deliver a risk free and seamless transition to the Machine Sentry system, were key factors in securing this contract.
“The data driven approach to CBM offered by ADA (the Automated Diagnostic Assistant) within Machine Sentry, will significantly enhance the reliability programme at Grangemouth and the INEOS team will also continue to benefit from the highest number of trained and skilled condition monitoring consultants in the UK.”
