Atlas Copco celebrates 50 years in Ireland26 March 2015

Atlas Copco Compressors in Ireland is to hold a programme of staff and customer events to commemorate its 50th year of operation in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The anniversary year will be celebrated with a range of product campaigns, customer promotions and staff events, conducted by a 30-strong team of technical sales, service and support staff who are closely engaged with meeting customers' application needs.

Sean Fairest, country manager for Compressor Technique, said: "The alliance of productivity and efficiency in manufacturing has been crucial to Ireland's continuing economic growth. Under the company's guiding principle of promoting sustainable productivity, Atlas Copco has sought to support Ireland's industrial resurgence with an extensive portfolio of compressor equipment for a broad spectrum of applications, while providing trusted advice and ongoing services to ensure that efficiency and performance are fully optimised in the long term."

Atlas Copco operates facilities in Dublin, Cork and Lisburn, including a compressor engineering workshop serving the needs of market sectors, including pharmaceutical, electronic and dairy products.
