Socotec supports local animal charity 27 March 2025
Socotec carried out a ground investigation to assist in repairing a failing retaining structure at the RSPCA Haseden Farm in Canterbury.
The scope of works included:
Conducting two windowless sampler boreholes, extending to depths of 5-6 meters Two probe locations to 6m deep to assist interpretation of ground conditions Providing comprehensive borehole logs and probing results Liaising with Amey to facilitate geotechnical testing of the samples recovered during the works
Socotec’s southern region ground investigation team also worked with Walkers and other parties. By supporting charities like the RSPCA, the Socotec is fulfilling its fledge to invest back into the communities where it operates.
The team also organised a collection and donated a hamper of goods to the rescue centre.
