SMP facility offers next day deliveries08 August 2023

Engine management specialist SMP Europe has launched a next day delivery service at its distribution centre in Poland to meet increased demand.

The distribution centre was opened in 2021, measures more than 60,000 square feet and employs 120 staff members.

Ross Toomey, managing director at SMP Europe, said: “Our business footprint has continued to grow in the EU, and enhancing our delivery service further will offer customers a greater flexibility, range and availability of our engine management products.”

The SMP Europe Poland operation is supported by its Centre of Engineering Excellence in Nottingham, UK, which designs and produces its engine management range of products. The company’s engineering team has grown in recent years to 16 employees, and additional investment has also seen the implementation of 3D printing machines to assist in rapid product prototyping, fitment testing and in house custom tooling.
