Siemens Mechanical Drives expands service offering 25 April 2012

Siemens Mechanical Drives is now offering additional services, including wind turbine servicing in all sizes, plus rail coupling service facilities at its Leeds site.

"Our aim is to provide the highest possible service levels with the fastest turnaround to enhance the product lifecycle, as well as value-added services which bring real benefits to customers," states Siemens service manager Gary Husband:

Siemens Industry Sector customer services are aimed at helping industrial plant users increase productivity and profitability through improved reliability and optimised plant operations.

The Leeds site also offers services around increasing energy efficiency and environmental compatibility, and improving plant monitoring and management – with consulting and engineering services also available.
