The company, which is launching a range of four industrial and three residential backup gas generators.
Pramac-Generac says: “Natural gas is becoming the preferred solution in many standby applications as the gas technology applied to power generation offers virtually unlimited runtime during power outages. In addition, there is practically no fuel maintenance associated with natural gas standby generators, while diesel fuel requires conditioning annually. A gas generator can be installed on rooftops or areas that are difficult to access, without the restriction of site refueling and its associated costs.”
Industrial models vary from 160kW-500kW emergency standby power generation capacity. All are three-phase, 400/231V and 50Hz.
Residential models offer 50Hz, 230V, single-phase power that, depending on model, varies from 7-13kVA. They come in either natural gas or propane-fuelled versions.
The new generators, to be launched at the Executive Hire Show 2019, 6-7 February at the Ricoh Arena (stand H22), will be integrated into the company’s current petrol, diesel and hybrid power portfolio.
