Newcleo acquires Rütschi Group08 January 2024

Nuclear technology company Newcleo has acquired Pompes Rütschi and Rütschi Fluid – the two firms that are referred to as the Rütschi Group.

Rütschi Group is a producer of engineered pumps for nuclear applications and adds almost 70 employees to Newcleo’s workforce.

The completion of the acquisition is an important milestone in Newcleo’s strategy to create a global manufacturing capability through a mix of European suppliers, key partnerships and acquisitions.

Stefano Buono, newcleo Chairman and CEO, (pictured) said: “The completion of this acquisition is another milestone in our industrialisation strategy, marking an important step towards our aim of bringing together the best global capabilities in nuclear engineering, manufacturing and waste management.
