Dunkermotoren gets Profidrive certification23 November 2023

Ametek brand Dunkermotoren has claimed it is the first manufacturer certified by Profibus to offer Profidrive an integrated solution.

Profidrive is said to make it possible to integrate drive solutions into the operating environment in a straightforward manner and without time-consuming tuning of individual parameters. Furthermore, it allows easy programming of sequences as well as synchronous operation of several axes.

Profidrive is available as an integrated solution with Profinet for all BG dPro PN motors. From the BG 95, 75, or 66 dPro PN to the compact BG 45 dPro PN – the solution is built into the motor. For those who prefer an external motor controller, the BGE 5510 dPro PN is also available separately without any motor solution.
