Convert expands cable loom and harness assembly area30 January 2020
Kent-based cable looms and harnesses maker Convert has doubled the size of its assembly area after investing in additional premises.
Managing director Dave Lord says that it’s "great to mark the start of a new decade" by officially moving into the expanded 11,000ft2 assembly area.
Established in 2006, Convert, which boasts 43 staff, supplies the automotive, transport, marine and scientific sectors, manufacturing cable looms and harnesses for car lights and a range of industrial, medical and marine equipment.
"We’d grown considerably over the past couple of years and needed additional space," Lord explains. "Luckily a unit became available next to our existing factory and we’ve spent the past several months converting it to suit our requirements.”
The company will also be exhibiting at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics show between 11-13 February 2020.
