Big names confirmed for NEC’s Energy Event 31 August 2011

The Energy Event, which takes place form 13 to14 September at the Birmingham NEC, will sport five of the 'big six', along with some of the UK's leading instrumentation and control suppliers.

Sponsored by systems-based utility consultancy British Independent Utilities (BIU), the Energy Event is this year also co- sponsored by: E.ON, PowerPerfector, Haven Power and UX Energy Services.

Additionally, partner organisations now include EIC, the ESTA (Energy Services & Technology Association), MEUC (the Major Energy Users' Council), BCIA, CIBSE, WTL, Waterwise and the Energy Institute.

"The Energy Event is a great forum for helping businesses on all aspects of their energy use and the benefits of taking action to better manage purchasing risks and energy efficiency programmes in an integrated strategy," says npower director of industrial and commercial markets David Cockshott.
