Atlas Copco appoints Lakeland Fluid Power 06 July 2011

Whitehaven, Cumbria-based Lakeland Fluid Power is the latest to be appointed an authorised premier distributor for Atlas Copco Compressors' industrial air compressors and accessories.

"As a service-led company, we gave careful consideration to our existing business before choosing to become an Atlas Copco distributor," states Patrick Taylor, managing director of Lakeland Fluid Power.

"The extensive range of compressors and associated products available means that they have a compressed air solution for every situation. We feel that this range, coupled with the resources and back-up of a world-leading compressor manufacturer, will ensure that we provide quality products and services for our customers."

Lakeland Fluid Power now gains access to Atlas Copco's range of GX and GA rotary screw compressors, including variable speed drive models, Class Zero rated oil-free compressors up to 55kW-VSD, SF scroll units and L reciprocating machines.

The company will also distribute Atlas Copco's air purification accessories, such as dryers, filters, and oil-water separators, as well as spare parts, nitrogen generators and AIRnet compressed air pipework systems.
