Allisons among first to complete NFPC accumulator course 05 March 2013
A technician from Allison Hydraulics - Birmingham is among the first in the country to complete a new Hydraulic Accumulator Maintenance course, at the National Fluid Power Centre.
The course is competence based, specially developed by the NFPC to bring a level of compliance to the knowledge and skills associated with the maintenance of accumulators in working circuits.
The course included understanding the correct procedures for examining and inspecting accumulators and the regulations appertaining to accumulator examination and testing.
Allison Hydraulics has more than 15 years' experience in the supply of accumulators to industry, and has a team trained to meet the regulations.
The firm is able to offer advice on all aspects of the PSSR (Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000) along with other requirements for pressure systems.
