National Fork Lift Safety Convention to take place in October05 February 2019

The annual National Fork Lift Safety Convention from the Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA) will take place on 30 October 2019.

Designed to encourage proactive change and raise awareness across the industry, the convention embodies the FLTA’s core aim of improving safety in the workplace.

This year’s event programme will include Q&As with industry experts, educational real-life case stories, and presentations from motivational speakers. The informative talks will aim to provide delegates with practical knowledge to enhance safety and reduce the risk of accidents.

The FLTA is also an accredited provider for continuing professional development (CPD), and the Safety Convention counts as four CPD hours for all attendees.

Alongside the convention, delegates will also be able to attend a forklift truck safety exhibition featuring safety products and services from a variety of suppliers.

Says FLTA chief executive Peter Harvey: “We are very much looking forward to the event already. The Safety Convention provides a great platform for discussing important industry trends and issues and gives companies the chance to gain insight that can benefit their business.”

The event, which is being sponsored by Toyota Material Handling UK, will be held at the Heart of England Event and Conference Centre in Coventry.
